The Mission of the Madison County Historical Society Is:

• To educate our citizenry and visitors about the county’s unique history, archeology, architecture, and cultural heritage.
  
  
• To assist in sponsoring a Madison County Junior Historical Society.
  
  
• To collaborate with governmental entities, educational institutions, and public/private businesses and organizations to promote, protect, and preserve Madison County history and heritage.
